Wejdan Wajdy Abu Shammala

    Wejdan Wajdy Abu Shammala is a student at Al Azhar University, Gaza Strip, majoring in English translation. She is a content writer, voice-over artist, and translator. She was a volunteer with the Hult Prize Competition in translation and content writing. “I’m here, part of WANN, because writing is my special refuge, a haven for organizing thoughts, documenting moments, and immortalizing memories,” she says. A favorite quote of hers is from Anaïs Nin: “ We write to taste life twice, in the moment and in retrospect.”
