emerging writers from Palestine tell their stories and advocate for their human rights

Seham Hamdan

Seham is a 20- year-old student of English language. English is her passion; she aspires to become a teacher so she can change so many students' perception of it as difficult to learn. She is also interested in linguistics and translation. Meanwhile, Seham wants to learn French and Hebrew after she finishes her university studies.

Seham believes writing is a powerful means to convey a message to the world; she wants to show a fully faceted image of Palestine, because she thinks the media covers only the brutality of the Israeli occupation. In her free time, Seham likes to design clothing; she hopes one day she can make good use of that talent. One of her other hopes is to see her original Palestinian village, Sarafand.
