emerging writers from Palestine tell their stories and advocate for their human rights

Nadya Siyam

I am a 19-year-old Palestinian girl living in Gaza. I study English language and literature at the Islamic University. For two years, I have been a member of the Tamer institute for Community Education, where I participate in a number of service activities, such as summer camps for orphans. I love reading, and my favorite genres are historical fiction and thrillers. I love writing stories as well. I mostly write in a narrative style about inspiring daily experiences. I also write poetry. I’m very interested in human rights and hope to pursue a career in this field!
