emerging writers from Palestine tell their stories and advocate for their human rights

Mohamed Shurrab

Mohammed,16, is a scientific-field ACCESS-scholar student. He participates in a variety of youth teams and community service activities, since he believes in the power of youth. His inquisitiveness has led him to discover so much about himself, and he keeps reading and learning. He is passionate about a bunch of things, and thus he’d most like to be called an educated man. Mohammed believes everybody can (and should) write. He is not sure how much change writing can bring about but uses it to heal and share his struggles. He seized the chance to become a WANNer to so his voice is heard.

my work

Each color in our flag symbolizes one aspect of our life.
Money can't bring about peace. They want us to sell our country.
So many aspects of ordinary life have come to a halt.
