Manar Al-Houbi

I am from Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip, along the border with Egypt. I work as an English teacher for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA). Meanwhile, I am studying for my master’s degree in applied linguistics at the Islamic University of Gaza (IUG). I hope to complete my PhD in the very near future. I also love cooking (I am a master at baking traditional Jerusalem bread) and am a mother of two smart little girls, who are my first priority: Mira, 5, and Mirna, 1.
