    Heba studied English literature at the Islamic University of Gaza and is now a student at the faculty of education there. Creative writing and Arabic calligraphy are her main interests. She writes to highlight the stories of the people in Gaza and to tell the human stories behind numbers.

    If you had to sum up life in six words, what would you you say? Here is one attempt, from Gaza
    For centuries, olive trees have been a source of love in Palestine and other Mediterranean countries. That tradition continues today.
    The four boys granted me life; I could not protect theirs.
    Gaza City has no rules. The only rule we have to which all people are committed is the no-rule rule.
