Anas, 21, is a senior in English language education at the Islamic University of Gaza. He works part-time in the fundraising and advocacy department at the Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor, the sponsor of We Are Not Numbers. Anas also serves as the coordinator of a network of young men and women who lead community service projects funded by the U.S. consulate general in Jerusalem. "My dream job is somewhere between international development and educational-exchange management," he says. "Writing is essential in both fields; it is how donors get to know why their support is valuable, and it is also how different groups and nations get to know each other."
