We Are Not Numbers has received our first grant! Until now, we have had to raise every penny needed to keep the project going by crowdfunding. It’s hard work, and we don’t like to ask too often. Now, we have just been officially notified we are the recipient of a U.S. State Department grant to run an intensive, weeklong journalism training workshop. This is the type of writing that will most likely help our writers earn a real income, so we are psyched!

We expect to conduct the training in the next six months.
