Few of us are privileged to wear the crown of royalty. However, we all have an inherent dignity. The young woman shown here wears a crown of light. That, and the candle in her hands, represent the light of humanity within each person. She has light because she chooses to celebrate what is good within her soul. People in Gaza are getting only three to five hours of electricity per day, often at different times each day and unpredictable. But even in the glow of candlelight, we find joy and celebrate life.
