We're ready for the next level! But we need your help

I want to join the WANN Sustainers Club with a monthly gift

I want to make a one-time donation to WANN

We have raised $12,000 on LaunchGood to keep us going, but we want to EXPAND. Help us here!

The youth of Gaza need many things, but just as much as aid, we want to speak for ourselves. We hope you agree we've had a strong first year: More than 75 writers, an equal number of mentors, more than 16,000 social media followers, and seven re-publication partners, including Huffington Post. We are so excited, and have so many ideas for how to expand: publish a book, go on tour, start our own news agency!

We rely entirely on the generous donations of our followers. Any amount you choose to give helps maintain and expand this project. Joining our Sustainers Club through a monthly pledge allows us to have a dependable base of support. Alternatively, you may choose the “donate” button to give a one-time contribution. Note: Your money will go directy to the office in Geneva, Switzerland, where our sponsor, the Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor, is headquartered.

Once you donate, please help us spread the word by sharing this page via email, Facebook, Twitter and word of mouth!

Why PayPal ?

PayPal is the safest, simplest way to transfer money internationally, using all currencies and with relatively low fees. By using PayPal, you guarantee that no one (including us) has access to your credit card information. If you choose monthly support, you can stop your payments at any time. Note: The PayPal acount is linked to a bank in Genevea, Switzerland, where the Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor (our sponsor) is headquartered and registered as a nonprofit.

Note that you do not need to open a PayPal account to make a donation; after clicking on the “donate” or “join” buttons, you will be given the option to log into PayPal OR bill your credit card without opening an account.

If you do not want to use PayPal, email us at ( and we will give you instructions for a wire transfer or check payment (to the international director, who is based in the United States).

Where does the money go?

We Are Not Numbers operates under the sponsorship of the Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor, headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland. (All monies go directly into its Geneva bank account and are then transferred to WANN.) However, although Euro-Med provides office space, the project is expected to be self-sustaining. Thus, donations are needed to pay our Gaza project manager and assistant (we’d also like to hire one in Lebanon for Palestinian writers there), as well as to pay story-related transportation expenses, hold regular team-building activities, purchase shared equipment such as cameras, etc. We are happy to answer further questions; email
