We're ready for the next level! But we need your help

I want to join the WANN Sustainers Club with a monthly gift

I want to make a one-time donation to WANN

We have raised $20,000 on LaunchGood to keep us going, but we want to EXPAND. Help us here!

The youth of Gaza need many things, but just as much as aid, we want to speak for ourselves. We hope you agree we've had a strong three years: More than 140 writers, an equal number of mentors, more than 30,000 social media followers, and seven re-publication partners. We are so excited, and have so many ideas for how to expand: publish a book and go on tour!

We rely entirely on the generous donations of our followers. Any amount you choose to give helps maintain and expand this project. Joining our Sustainers Club through a monthly pledge allows us to have a dependable base of support. Alternatively, you may choose the “donate” button to give a one-time contribution. Note: Your money will be sent directly to the project in Gaza; no funds are kept in the United States for "overhead" or transfer fees (our international director volunteers and pays the latter out of her own pocket).

Once you donate, please help us spread the word by sharing this page via email, Facebook, Twitter and word of mouth!

Why PayPal ?

PayPal is the safest, simplest way to transfer money internationally, using all currencies and with relatively low fees. By using PayPal, you guarantee that no one (including us) has access to your credit card information. If you choose monthly support, you can stop your payments at any time.

Note that you do not need to open a PayPal account to make a donation; after clicking on the “donate” or “join” buttons, you will be given the option to log into PayPal OR bill your credit card without opening an account.

If you do not want to use PayPal, email us at ( and we will give you instructions for a wire transfer or check payment (to the international director, who is based in the United States).

Where does the money go?

We Are Not Numbers is hosted in Gaza by the El-Wedad Society for Community Rehabilitation. However, although El-Wedad provides office space, the project is expected to be self-sustaining. Thus, donations are needed to pay our full-time Gaza project manager and two part-time coordinators, as well as for story-related transportation expenses, hold regular team-building activities, purchase shared equipment such as cameras, etc. We are happy to answer further questions; email
