تدعو We Are Not Numbers جميع الفنانين والمطربين الموهوبين في غزة للمشاركة في هذه المسابقة:

Israel will host the Eurovision Song Contest May 13-18, shamelessly using it as part of its Brand Israel campaign to whitewash and distract attention from its war crimes against Palestinians
In response, an alliance of international arts and culture professionals will stage a competing GlobalVISION to say “no” to normalization and “yes” to Eurovision values, the right of all refugees to return to their ancestral homeland, and their demand to live free from military dictatorship.
We want Gaza to be well represented in the first GlobalVISION! How? We Are Not Numbers is inviting all talented singers in Gaza to apply to participate in our own version of the contest:
- Apply for an audition spot by emailing issam@wearenotnumbers.org by Tuesday, May 7. Include a YouTube link to a sample video showcasing your voice, along with your name and phone number. [The clip can be any length and can feature any music; it does not need to feature the song that would be entered into the contest. We merely want to get a feel for your talent.]
- Our panel of youth and musical experts [names available upon request] will select eight applicants to be professionally videotaped. Those who are selected will be notified Wednesday, May 8.
- The eight selected "auditioners" will be professionally videotaped in front of a select audience on Thursday, May 9. Be sure to select a song to perform that will represent Gaza and Palestine well to the world. You may perform in Arabic (we will provide English subtitles for the video] or English. An excellent sound system will be available.
- The eight videos then will be featured on a special page of the We Are Not Numbers website, where visitors can vote for their favorite song/performer beginning May 12. The eight finalists also will be featured in a highlights video and news release used to publicize the contest to local and international media.
- The winning song/singer will submitted to GlobalVISION in time for its own, May 18 online event, planned to counter the main Eurovision performances.
- The winner and two runners-up also will be recognized at a news conference and a public concert in Gaza following Ramadan.
