For the children of Aleppo

On my 17th birthday, I cannot celebrate. Children (and their parents) are dying in Aleppo (and elsewhere) while the world looks on.

Painting of weeping Middle Eastern woman

This painting is dedicated to
the children who were alive,
but now are not here,
to the children who had dreams.
who played and slept like angels.
I'm sorry for my helplessness.
