Standing tall like Jerusalem
A wake-up slap in the enemy's face
Strong like a shield.

And runs with the Palestinian flag,
Hungry for freedom.

Standing sharp and forceful like a flame
In front of her oppressor,
At the door of her house.
Then arrested,
Like a wild animal shoved into a cage.

She has been a fearless advocate for her people since the age of 9. The reference to "Mockingjay" in the title refers to the book and move, "The Hunger Games."
