STILL STUCK
In the SAME WHEEL
Spinning me ENDLESSLY
“One moment of break!” I SHOUT.

    . . .

SILENCE prevails

           I

Drift into sleep.

STILL STUCK

Haunted

   in

        my

              sleep

In an ENDLESS loop

Nothing changes
Same suffocating, smothering smell

   of   EXPLOSIONS

Same buzzing buzzing breaking sounds
Same dismal displacement orders
Same fire cooking bowls
Same anxiety
Same fleeting s l e e p

BROKEN by BRUTAL BLASTS

STILL STUCK

        in

A hollow existence
A bitter show
Which mocks
Every second it throws

I’m just a mere passing breeze

I suspect I may pass peacefully
Hold my wings and fly freely

I CRASH into a fierce WIND

TOPPLING me

               To the GROUND

Leaving

                  me

                       STUCK

                              THERE

But it’s not my burden
To shoulder alone
Nor my fault
To face alone

To survive or not
Is my ONLY QUESTION
Yet here I survive

Over the rubble of my home
Over the rubble of my land

 WAITING

For a PASSING BREEZE

To grant me PEACE
