Today, the angels of death protested in heaven,
chanting loudly to the Lord,
“We’re exhausted, we need rest.”

Some objected to working such
long days and nights in Gaza,
They asked for a transfer
to someplace less severe.

After long negotiations,
They handed God a list
of demands they thought fair.

1. Help
2. More days off
3. A night shift
4. Psychotherapy, covered by insurance
5. A free Palestine.

We have confirmed there is no war there, but an unnecessary
occupation and a genocide.
