We Are Not Numbers (WANN) is partnering with Emerging Voices Webzine to host a musical event that brings together creatives in Gaza and in Kenya to make art.

Resilience — the Sumud-Uthabiti Project, will be held Sunday, November 17, at 6 p.m. GMT. It feature Kenyan musicians Kake Wakake, Judith Bwire, and Lydiah Dola and Gazan musicians Ahmed Rael and Belal Saleh.

If the war on Gaza permits, all five musicians will present live from Kenya and Gaza. If this is not possible, Kake, Judith, and Lydiah will perform live and will introduce their work with Ahmed and Belal via pre-recorded videos.

The online event is free; sign up to obtain the link.
