Wendy Swift

    Wendy Swift is a graduate of Syracuse University with a master’s from Hofstra University. Wendy’s teaching career began on Long Island in 1977 and continued until her retirement from a Connecticut independent school in 2021. Since retirement, Swift has dedicated herself to writing through tutoring and mentoring others and developing her own writing career. Her work has been published in multiple forums including HuffPost, Brevity Blog, Memoir Magazine, Yellow Arrow’s Emblazon journal, Grub Street Literary Magazine, Adelaide Literary Magazine, Barely South Review and Avalon Literary Review. Her memoir is under consideration for publication. Swift is a fiction reader for Mud Season Magazine. She lives in Farmington, Connecticut, with her husband.
