emerging writers from Palestine tell their stories and advocate for their human rights

Wendy Goldsmith

Wendy Goldsmith has been working in the field of social work for the past 35 years working with children, families, newcomers, survivors of abuse, and women’s groups.  She is currently an advocate/counselor at the London Abused Women’s Centre and coordinates their anti-human trafficking initiatives.  She is a founding member of Canada Boat to Gaza and a member of the Steering Committee of the International Freedom Flotilla Campaign to end the illegal and inhumane blockade of Gaza.  In her free time, Wendy writes poetry to express her feelings about the state of the world.  Wendy’s greatest accomplishment to date is being the proud mother of three wonderful children.  For them, and for the generations to come, she carries on.
