Tom Sperlinger is a reader in English literature and community engagement at the University of Bristol in the UK, where he teaches principally  adult education. In 2013, he was a vsiting professor at Al-Quds University. He has written for The Guardian, The Independent on Sunday and Electronic Intifada, among others. Romeo and Juliet in Palestine, his first book, was published by Zero Books in June 2015.
