Sarah Jacobus

    Sarah Jacobus is a Los Angeles-based writer and teaching artist in creative writing and storytelling. She has taught English as a Second Language in public adult schools and creative writing in a range of settings, including libraries, juvenile probation camps, residential treatment centers, and senior housing. Her essays have appeared in the Los Angeles Times, Zócalo Public Square, Air/Light, and other journals and anthologies. Sarah has been active in organizations advocating for Palestinian human rights for over 30 years and has been a WANN mentor since 2021.
