Pichchenda Bao 

    Pichchenda Bao is a Cambodian American poet and writer, infant survivor of the Khmer Rouge genocide, daughter of refugees, and stay-at-home feminist mother. Her work has been widely published, featured in international art exhibitions, made into limited-edition broadsides by the Center for Book Arts, been part of numerous audio poetry projects, and nominated for the Pushcart Prize and Best of the Net.

    She is one of the co-editors of the poetry anthology, Braving the Body (Harbor Editions). She has received support and fellowships from Queens Council on the Arts, Aspen Words, Bethany Arts Community, and Kundiman. She lives, writes, and raises her three children in New York City.
