Mimi Kirk is associate director at the Center for Contemporary Arab Studies at Georgetown University. She was previously program manager for the Middle East Studies Association and managing director for Al-Shabaka, the Palestinian Policy Network. She co-edited the volume Palestine and the Palestinians in the Twenty-first Century (with Rochelle Davis), and her writing has appeared in Middle East Report, Foreign Policy, Jadaliyya, and Al Jazeera, among other outlets.
