Mariam Abu-Adas is an anthropologist, versatile project manager and accomplished creator of digital content. With a keen focus on the intersection of human rights, language and media, she brings over 16 years of experience to the field and within digital spaces. Mariam has successfully led community, youth and gender programs across Europe, North Africa and the Middle East, demonstrating her commitment to fostering positive change in diverse communities. Additionally, she has worked as a translator and editor for various organizations, including IFEX, Global Voices and others.
Possessing a master’s degree in applied anthropology and youth work from Goldsmiths College, University of London, UK, Mariam combines academic rigor with practical expertise. Her academic background enriches her approach to project management and digital content creation, allowing her to navigate the complexities of the field with insight and innovation.
Mariam is the co-founder of several media organizations in Jordan and Canada, including 7iber, Akhbarek and Nahhla.
