Lillie Gardner

    Lillie Gardner is a literary fiction, creative nonfiction, and screen writer. After studying creative writing at New York University, she led writing workshops at the Community School of the Arts and the Bridge Family Center in Connecticut. Her creative nonfiction has been published in Long River Review and Delmarva Review, and her limited series screenplay about composer Amy Beach was a semifinalist in both the CineStory and ScreenCraft TV screenwriting competitions. Lillie has published pieces with Sentient Media and Minnesota Women’s Press, among others. She reviews books with environmental and animal themes for EcoLit Books and she’s on the reading panel for Hippocampus Magazine. When she’s not writing or editing, Lillie can be found reading a good book or practicing piano. She holds a doctorate in piano performance and maintains her music teaching studio in St. Paul, Minnesota.
