James Attlee

    James Attlee is a nonfiction writer and editor, based in Oxford, UK. He’s worked in publishing for 30 years, teaches creative writing in both university and community settings and from 2022–2024 was a Royal Literary Fund Fellow at St Hilda’s College Oxford, supporting students with their writing skills. He became an RLF Advisory Fellow in 2025.

    His books include “Under the Rainbow: Voices from Lockdown (2021),” “Guernica: Painting the End of the World” (2017), “Station to Station” (2015), “Nocturne: A Journey in Search of Moonlight” (2011) and “Isolarion: A Different Oxford Journey” (2007/2020).
