    Deirdre Claffey works as a digital content specialist for a UK-based charity. She spent 15 years working in national newspapers, recently finishing up as a commissioning editor for comment in the Daily Mail’s, Mail+ in London. She still writes freelance and has been published in the Guardian, Daily Mail, and Cult Mag. She has a master’s degree in international peace studies from Trinity College Dublin and a bachelor’s degree in journalism.
