Charles Ellenbogen has been teaching English for more than 30 years. He has taught in Chicago, Nashville, London, Baltimore, and the Twin Cities, and is now teaching in Cleveland. In addition to being a passionate reader, he has also self-published a teaching memoir called “This Isn’t the Movies.” He lives in Ohio with Kirsten, his wife, who is the president and CEO of the Great Lakes Science Center. Zoe, their daughter, is studying at Kent State University. Ezra, their son, will graduate high school in June 2025. Two pets — Lincoln, a dog, and AOC, a cat — complete the family.
