Mariam Ahmed Roubi

I am Mariam, a girl who used to hate her name, but now adore it. My love for my name started when I read a saying inviting us to love our names because they are the first gift from our parents and life in general. I strive now to see everything as a gift. As a university student, I am frequently asked to write essays and stories. Although it is tiring to write and read every day, I have come to see the assignments as gifts that are preparing me to make a difference! I have discovered that through writing, I can tell people about the richness of life, including its suffering.

I am Mariam, a girl who believes that suffering is miserable, but the ability to express that suffering is a gift.
