Jehad Abu Jazar

Jehad was born in Gaza’s Rafah camp. He lived his childhood during the First Intifada, and his teenage years through the Second Intifada. In addition, he has survived three wars so far. During this dangerous life, Jehad lost many people he cared about, including relatives, friends and neighbors. He graduated from the Islamic University of Gaza, and is now an English teacher at the University College of Applied Sciences. His passion for writing started very recently, inspired by the last Zionist aggression against the Gaza Strip, in the summer of 2014. It awakened the voice of the writer in Jehad. He writes for freedom and peace; his greatest dream is to see Palestine free and Palestinians living in peace wherever they go in this universe.

Today, Jehad is studying for his master's degree in international relations in Istanbul, Turkey.
