A team of We Are Not Numbers staff and writers, including Enas Ghannam, project manager; Zainab Basheer, project assistant; and two other writers, Hanya Al-Jamal, and Aya Alghazzawi recently met with two of European Union representatives. They were interested in learning more about how to empower young women in Gaza. They had a very fruitful meeting, in which they discussed the problems faceb by young women in Gaza and how We Are Not Numbers helps give them a voice. 

The EU delegation was impressed by the work of our project, since we give the youth a space to empower themselves.  We hope we will cooperate in the future!
