Somaya Mohammad is a writer from Gaza and a mother of three children. Her writing has appeared in Electronic Intifada and the Washington Report for Middle East Affairs, where she shares personal stories shaped by war, displacement, and everyday life in Gaza.

She writes because some memories deserve to be carried in words, and because writing has always been her way of holding on to people, places, and moments that war tries to erase.
