Salma Abu Hamad is a Palestinian writer from Gaza, currently living in Egypt after surviving the war physically. She has previously published in the Los Angeles Times, and she maintains a personal blog where she shares reflections on life, loss, and homeland.

She writes from the heart of experience, blending her personal memories with the collective voice of Palestinian pain and hope.

“I believe that words have the power to survive even when everything else falls apart,” she says. “Through the pen, I believe in keeping alive the memory and spirit of Palestinian women
luminaries who occupied all spheres of her society.”
