Saleh Anbar

Saleh, 21, is the oldest of six—with four brothers and a sister. He says being the eldest has really influenced his personality:  “For years, I’ve been the one who is held responsible for every single act of my brothers and must take great care of my little sister. This has influenced my character and made me more independent; I always have a way to solve every problem in my life.” He is now studying English translation, which he describes as his “profound passion,” at Gaza University.

“I’ve always been a helpful person to everyone around me and so I’ve started working as a trainer in the English language. Now, I’ve decided to take my chance and be one of the members of the We are Not Number family, to share our stories with everyone.
