emerging writers from Palestine tell their stories and advocate for their human rights

Sahar Al-ijla

Sahar Al-ijla is from Gaza, Palestine. She is known for her unique, joyful, hard-working, ambitious, and sensitive nature. She channels her emotions into writing and does so frequently and always in English, the language she studied.

Sahar graduated from Alazhar University as an English teacher. She dreams of a safe and secure life while constantly striving for personal and professional growth. She enjoys swimming and walking, both as sports and as stress relievers. Sahar identifies with her favorite animals: she is soft as a butterfly, loyal as a horse and a dog, strong as a sheta, and patient as a camel.
