From the Gaza Strip’s Nusirat Camp, the 29-year-old earned a diploma in marine engineering and a bachelor’s degree in English literature from. In addition, he studied Hebrew at the advanced level at the Abraham Center in Gaza City. Rakan’s primary passion, however, is journalism and aspires to particularly excel at TV reporting.
