Noor Agha

Noor, 21, is from Khan Younis in Gaza and is enrolled in the English literature program at the Islamic university of Gaza. However, currently she is living in Istanbul with her family. Meeting new people from different cultures and points of view is what she enjoys the most about being in Turkey, which unfortunately often is not possible in Gaza. She volunteers with "Istanbul & I," a youth-formed and –led group focused on helping refugees in the country. About writing, she says, "We can’t understand our life if we don’t write about it."
