Majd Musleh is a Palestinian who lived her whole life in Gaza. Originally her grandparents were forcibly displaced from Kawkaba and Yafa to Gaza after the Nakba in 1948. After graduating from high school in Gaza, Majd traveled to pursue her dream to study law and is currently a law student in Cyprus.
She believes that Palestinian prisoners in the occupation prisons are unknown soldiers of the Palestinian struggle. In particular, she wishes to shine a light on her parents: her father, whom she does not remember but does not want his memory to be forgotten (nor the memory of any Palestinian who stood up and fought against the occupation), and her mother who has struggled as a Palestinian woman, as the wife of a martyr, and as a single mother. For that, she believes that the only way for a free Palestine is to fight the occupation and to speak up against it and any other colonialist regime.
