Lina Ghassan Abu Zayed is a writer and optometrist from the Gaza Srip. Before the war, she worked at Al-Nasr Eye Hospital, and during the war, she volunteered at Yafa Hospital. She studies at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at the Islamic University of Gaza.
Lina loves writing and practicing sports. Since the war, her writing has shifted toward resilience and survival amid challenges, and she believes that as long as she is alive, she must keep writing to let the world hear Gaza’s stories.
