Issam Adwan

    Issam, is a trained translator/interpreter, journalist and English teacher with more than four years of experience. In 2019, he was chosen by The Carter Center to be the first Palestinian independent observer for the Tunisian elections. Issam earned his bachelor’s degree in English language and teaching methods from Al-Aqsa University and is currently working on his thesis for a master’s degree in translation/interpretation at the Islamic University of Gaza. His passions are improving the learning experience for diverse student populations, youth empowerment, social justice and gender equality.
