My name is Dima Ghanim, and I am a pharmacy student at Al-Azhar University. I appreciate all forms of art, including paintings, sculptures, writing and cinematography.
I see people around me as pieces of art. All colors have the same base; it is the dyes that distinguish the color. Likewise, we all humans are the same regardless of gender, race, status, class or location. Such distinctions do not define our aspirations, nor our flourishing soul. As I believe writing cultivates creativity because it enable us to express our ideas, I have always been interested to hear other people's stories and shape them into writings. In my view, having empathy and taking the time to understand another person’s perspective and hear their untold story is a part of the human experience.
