Dima Fayad was born and raised in Khan Younis, southern Gaza. She was forcibly displaced to Deir al-Balah as a result of the latest assault. She longs for her home in Khan Younis, yet she cannot return, as there is no longer a home for her.
Dima is an Access alumna and an English graduate of the Islamic University of Gaza. Taking inspiration from her professor, Dr. Refaat Alareer, she turned to writing to bring the voices of Gaza to the world.
Current as of October 2026
