emerging writers from Palestine tell their stories and advocate for their human rights

Batoul Billali

Batoul is a Palestinian refugee with a degree in business administration from the American University of Beirut. She loves art, culture, human interaction and nature. “Basically,” she says, “I enjoy simple things. I visit art galleries and theatre every once in a while. I attend discussions and conferences to observe the culture and how humans interact together. My hobbies include swimming, kayaking, hiking and learning new art forms. So far, I have learned drawing, ceramics, fashion design and graphic design.” Currently, Batoul is learning French. She hopes that one day, she will run a research center and publish findings that will promote healthier lifestyles.
