emerging writers from Palestine tell their stories and advocate for their human rights

Atta Khaled

Atta Khaled is a passionate young man who lives in Gaza and is grateful to be Gazan. He is a change seeker, an Access alumnus, and a senior studying accounting in English at Al Azhar University. He believes in the significant social role he can play in society. For Atta, writing is a great way to express his thoughts and feelings, describe what he sees and suffers from, and support the causes he believes in. “Writing is the truest way of communicating with others,” he says.

As a Palestinian living in Gaza, Atta has a lot to tell the world about through writing. He is keen to collaborate with others bringing his experiences, capacities, and skills forward to make an impact. Through each character and picture in his stories, he will tell you about the meaning of living in Gaza and how Gazans always struggle for a better life.
