Amal Mohammed Abu Saif is a medical laboratory student at Al-Israa University and the author of “Atheer Gaza,” a novel born from the rubble and written with the pulse of survival. She lives in Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip, where war is not just a backdrop — it’s a daily reality.
Amal’s novel has been published across the Arab world, offering readers a glimpse into the lives of those enduring occupation, siege, and unimaginable loss. Through fiction rooted in truth, Amal transforms pain into power, using words as a form of resistance and remembrance.
Her goal is to amplify Gaza’s voice globally and to share her people’s truth with those who have never lived it.
Amal’s book “Atheer Gazav (in Arabic) can be obtained from the Turkish publisher, Dar Al-Rumooz Al-Arabiya.
