Alaa Hammouda

    Alaa, 26, lives in North Gaza. After earning a bachelor’s degree in English literature, she married, had two daughters and secured a job of media officer for the Gaza Community Mental Health Program. Alaa loves to meet people from different cultures so she can learn from their experiences. She also loves surfing the internet, swimming and riding horses. As a Palestinian woman living under occupation, she considers writing something she not only likes but is her duty to spread share her people’s stories with the world.
