Yesterday, I looked through the diary I have kept for a long time, starting from the first or second war – I don’t remember. And I found one of my entries, which talked about wanting to create a bubble for my city, so I could protect it. It inspired me to paint this.

The mother and the two kids represents me in the last war and the fear I felt. The red line symbolizes the blood of Gaza. And the blue…the blue is the sky.
